Two steps authentication for New Users

Two steps authentication for Existing Users

STEP 1

Create a new user and fill all the user details. Check Enforce Two step Authentication and click submit.

STEP 2

The user has to log in into his account.

STEP 3

The user will choose the method he wants to activate 2 Step Authentication and click submit.
The dashboard will ask a phone number to send the SMS code confirmation when you select SMS.

STEP 4

On the Dashboard you will logout and open your V2cloud application.

STEP 4

The user will enter his login information.

STEP 5

The user will now enter the verification code received either by email or by SMS.

STEP 6

Your user is now logged with 2 step authentication

Two steps authentication for Existing Users

STEP 1

Login to V2 dashboard with your owner account.

STEP 2

In the right pane, select Actions and then Manage computer.

STEP 3

In the Users tab, select the user to enable Two Steps authentication and in the Actions button, select Edit user.

STEP 4

In the Edit User Account window, check Enforce two step authentication option and click Submit.

STEP 5

Next time user logs in to V2 cloud, he/she will be prompted to setup two step authentication, enter phone number as indicated in the dialog box.

STEP 6

Enter the verification code sent to your email and phone number to confirm two step authentication is working correctly.

STEP 7

Once confirmed please close your browser and log back in to your Cloud Computer, now two step authentication is enabled.
