Updates:

Update no.1: Say Hello to Seamless Video Calls: Introducing the Enhanced Webcam Redirection Feature! ?✨

We’re thrilled to bring you the latest enhancement to your V2 Cloud experience—our upgraded Webcam Redirection feature! 

Whether you’re using Google Meet, Zoom, Teams, Slack, or any other webcam-enabled platform, this update is designed to make your video calls smoother, sharper, and more seamless than ever. No more jumping back and forth to your local console—just pure, uninterrupted workflow magic! ?‍♂️

What’s New? Let’s Break It Down:

• Improved Stability & Reduced Latency ?
  Say goodbye to lag! Our improved webcam redirection offers a more reliable connection with significantly less delay compared to the previous version.
• Cross-Platform Compatibility ?
  Whether you’re on Windows, Mac, or Linux, we’ve got you covered. Previously limited to Windows, this feature is now available across all major platforms.
• Enhanced Video Quality ?
  Get ready to shine on camera with significantly improved video compression and clarity. Your video calls have never looked this good!

Ready to Dive In? Here’s How to Install the Webcam Redirection Update:

Step 1: Update Your Settings ⚙️

1. Head over to the “Settings” tab, located at the bottom of the navigation panel on the left.
2. Select your computer’s webcam and make sure to check the box for “Always redirect camera when using RDP.”

Don’t forget to toggle the “Use RDP” option On. You’re halfway there!

Step 2: Installation Process ?️

1. Select the virtual computer you want to connect to and let the magic happen. ✨
2. A modal will appear, fetching the V2 connection configuration and setting up the new webcam redirection. Grab a coffee—it might take a few minutes during the initial setup.

        3. Once the configuration is complete, you’ll see a camera icon pop up at the bottom left of the navigation panel. You’ll be redirected to your Windows OS. Log in to keep things rolling.

Step 3: Use Your Redirected Camera ?

1. After logging into your Windows OS, fire up any of your favorite meeting tools (Google Meet, Zoom, Teams, etc.).
2. Start a meeting, head over to the camera options, and select “Redirected Camera” as your go-to camera. And voilà—you’re all set to make a great impression!

And that’s it! Your webcam is now fully redirected, and you’re ready to rock your meetings with flawless video quality. ?

Update no.2.: SSO Just Got a Whole Lot Better: Streamlined Logins for Windows ?

Tired of juggling multiple passwords? We’ve got you covered! With our enhanced Single Sign-On (SSO) feature, admins can now allow users to log into their virtual machines using the same credentials they use for Azure, Domain, or custom logins. No more password headaches—just a streamlined, secure login experience.

Here’s how it works:

• Option 1: “Add as known user” – Admins can manually add users to a VM and give them SSO access. Easy peasy! ?
• Option 2: “Add as new user” – Users can log in with their SSO credentials, and poof—a new user profile is automatically created in the V2 Cloud dashboard. Magic! ?

We’ve also made the “Add new SAML connector” and “Add new user” modals smoother and sleeker for an all-around better experience. Who doesn’t love a good UI upgrade? ?

Plus, depending on your setup, you can now create users with different login preferences. When selecting “Create a new Azure,” “Domain,” or “Self-managed” user, the process follows a different flow during user creation:

• Domain: Just provide the organization’s domain and Windows username, and you’re all set!

• Azure: Simply use the Windows username associated with the user’s Azure account.

• Self-managed: If you’ve got something custom going on, talk to your IT admin or give us a shout—we’re here to help! ?

Enhancements:

We’ve packed in a couple of useful enhancements to speed up your workflow:

• Queue Optimization for Submit Actions:
  Clicking the “Submit” button a few extra times (hey, it happens!) won’t mess with the system anymore. Tasks process faster and smoother now. ⚡
• Accurate Storage Disk Calculations:
  You’ll now see precise storage disk rates in the modal, giving you a clear idea of what’s going on under the hood. ?

Bug Fixes ??

You spoke, we listened! Here’s a rundown of the bugs we’ve squashed this time around:

• Notification Queue Fix: The notification queue now correctly shows the real-time status of actions like restarts or user additions. No more “queued” tasks that are already done! ✅

• Scheduled Reboot Fix: Confused about whether your scheduled reboot actually happened? Now it shows the accurate status, so you’re always in the know. ?
• Search Error Fix: Pressing “Enter” after searching for an item no longer results in an error. Search away, worry-free! ?

• Virtual Computer Creation Fix: At the final step of creating a new virtual computer, the description field is now ready and waiting for your input, and the “Create Cloud Computer” button is fully clickable.

And we didn’t stop there—several other minor bugs have been cleaned up to keep things running like clockwork. ?️
